Licensed care, every visit
Every Hype IV service is administered by a licensed registered nurse operating under standing orders from our supervising medical director. Every guest completes a health intake before their first service and a quick review at each visit, and a licensed provider reviews it before anything is administered. If something in your screening needs a closer look, we'll say so — and never charge you for a service we don't deliver.
Informed consent
Before your first treatment you'll sign an informed consent covering the service, its intended benefits, and its risks. Your RN will walk through it with you and answer questions in plain English. You can withdraw consent and stop a treatment at any point, for any reason.
Known risks
IV therapy is very safe when delivered by licensed professionals, and side effects are typically minor: brief discomfort at the insertion site, occasional bruising, a cool sensation during infusion, or lightheadedness. Rare risks include vein inflammation, infiltration, allergic reaction, and infection. Our sterile, single-use supplies and clinical protocols are designed to keep rare exactly that.
Who should talk to a doctor first
If you have kidney or heart conditions, are pregnant or nursing, have G6PD deficiency, or take medications that affect fluid balance, talk with your physician before booking and tell us in your intake. Our screening will flag these too — belt and suspenders.
Emergencies
IV wellness therapy is not emergency medicine. For chest pain, difficulty breathing, severe dehydration, or any medical emergency, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room. Come see us when you're stable — we'll help with the recovery.
